All NSOs, MSOs, PTSOs, and local event staff are invited to join Green Sports Day Canada for an engaging and insightful discussion on how Canada’s MSOs and NSOs are advancing sustainability in sport. From integrating green practices at major sporting events to tackling climate mitigation and adaptation, learn how organizations are taking action.
Join Oliver Scholfield, OLY, and Oluseyi Smith, OLY, from Racing to Zero as they host an interactive session on advancing sustainability in Canadian sport. They’ll be joined by Josh Peacock from Cycling Canada to share their experience in the COC’s NSO Sustainability Pilot Project. The conversation will also feature Mary Sayewich from Ottawa Tourism, who will highlight how their Responsible Events Guide is helping sporting events in Ottawa become more sustainable.
A plant-based lunch and refreshments will be provided at 11:30am.
The in-person session has limited space. If the session is already full, please register for the virtual option.
